DSR retention policy in MineOS

MineOS retains different parts of your DSR data for different lengths of time, depending on the component. Here's what to expect for each.

Audit Log

The DSR Audit Log is retained indefinitely, with no expiry. To keep your own copy outside MineOS, you can download it directly or schedule recurring deliveries to email, Amazon S3, a webhook, or SFTP.

DSR requests (tickets)

Open and closed tickets are retained indefinitely. However, closed tickets are only visible on the Requests page for the past 3 months — to view or retrieve older closed tickets, use Export Audit Log from the ••• menu on the Requests page.

Deleted tickets are permanently removed 30 days after the date of deletion.

Copy Reports and retrieved files

DSR Copy Reports are retained for 45 days. Each time a user clicks Compile Report, that 45-day period resets from that point.

Files retrieved from integrations — the raw data collected for a copy request — are retained separately, for 90 days from the date they were collected. Each time a user triggers Collect or Refresh on a request, the 90-day period resets for the newly retrieved files.

If you need a longer retention window for Copy Reports, you can connect your own storage and set your own policy there.

Can retention periods be changed?

Retention periods aren't configurable directly in the platform, with two exceptions: Copy Report retention can be extended by connecting custom storage, and the Audit Log can be self-managed by downloading it or scheduling deliveries to your own storage, as described above.
