HiBob DSR integration

This integration automates access requests for HiBob. MineOS looks up the HiBob employee that matches the requester's email address, then lets you preview the record and send the requester a copy.

How It Works

• Preview: before MineOS prepares a copy, you can preview the employee it found for the requester, including the employee ID, email address and name.
• Get a copy: MineOS sends the requester a copy of the HiBob employee record found for their email address.

Before You Start

• You need admin access in HiBob to create a service user and a permission group.

Setting Up

Step 1: Create a service user in HiBob

1. Log in to HiBob. At the top left, click Bob products → System settings, then select Integrations.
2. In the All categories dropdown, select Automation.
3. On the Service users tile, click Manage.
4. Click + New service user.
5. Enter a service name and a display name, for example MineOS, and create the service user.
6. Copy the service user ID and Token and keep them safe.

Step 2: Give the service user access

1. In the left menu, select Account → Permission groups.
2. Click + Add permission group and enter a name.
3. Under Group members, select Select people by condition, then click Select People.
4. Click the trash icon next to each condition to remove all of them, so that no other people are added to the group.
5. Under Add specific employees, choose your service user.
6. Click Apply.
7. Click Edit at the top right, select People's data and check View in all sections.

Step 3: Connect in MineOS

1. Log in to MineOS. On the left sidebar, click Inventory → Data Sources. Click Add Data Source, search for HiBob and click Add.
2. Open the HiBob data source → Integrations tab → Request Handling section → select Integration.
3. In the Integration type dropdown, choose HiBob.
4. Enter the service user ID in the Service user ID field.
5. Paste the service user token into the Service user password field.
6. Click Test & Save.

You're done! MineOS has been connected to your HiBob account.

Using the Integration in Requests

To handle requests automatically, add the HiBob integration to the workflows of the privacy rights it should handle, such as get a copy.
