Mailchimp DSR integration

This integration automates privacy requests for Mailchimp. MineOS searches your Mailchimp account for the contact that matches the requester's email address, then lets you preview, delete or copy it.

How It Works

• Preview: before MineOS deletes or copies anything, you can preview the contacts it found for the requester, including the contact ID, email address and name.
• Delete: MineOS permanently deletes the matching contact from each Mailchimp audience it appears in. The task shows as in progress while the deletion is processed.
• Get a copy: MineOS sends the requester a copy of the Mailchimp contact records found for their email address. If no contact matches, the task is reported as not found.

Before You Start

• Make sure you are an Admin or Manager on the Mailchimp account you want to connect.

Setting Up

1. Log in to MineOS. On the left sidebar, click Inventory → Data Sources. Click Add Data Source, search for Mailchimp and click Add.
2. Open the Mailchimp data source → Integrations tab → Request Handling section → select Integration.
3. Click Connect, follow the on-screen instructions and click Allow to authorize MineOS to access your Mailchimp account.
4. Click Save.

You're done! MineOS has been connected to your Mailchimp account.

Using the Integration in Requests

To handle requests automatically, add the Mailchimp integration to the workflows of the privacy rights it should handle, such as deletion or get a copy.
