Extole DSR integration

This integration automates privacy requests for Extole. MineOS looks up the contact data in Extole that matches the requester's email address, then lets you preview, delete or copy it.

How It Works

• Preview: before MineOS deletes or copies anything, you can preview the contact data it found for the requester, including the email address and opt-out status.
• Delete: MineOS submits a data erasure request to Extole for the requester's email address. If Extole holds no person for that email address, the task is reported as not found.
• Get a copy: MineOS sends the requester a copy of the contact data Extole holds for their email address, including their opt-out status.

Before You Start

• Make sure you can open the Security Centre in your Extole account, where access tokens are managed.

Setting Up

Step 1: Get an access token in Extole

1. Log in to Extole and go to the Security Centre.
2. In the Access Tokens section, copy the token value. If there is no token yet, or you can't see its value, create a new access token.

Step 2: Connect in MineOS

1. Log in to MineOS. On the left sidebar, click Inventory → Data Sources. Click Add Data Source, search for Extole and click Add.
2. Open the Extole data source → Integrations tab → Request Handling section → select Integration.
3. Paste the access token into the Enter your Access Token field.
4. Click Test your integration to validate the token.
5. Click Test & Save.

You're done! MineOS has been connected to your Extole account.

Using the Integration in Requests

To handle requests automatically, add the Extole integration to the workflows of the privacy rights it should handle, such as deletion or get a copy.
