Chargebee DSR integration

This integration automates privacy requests for Chargebee. MineOS looks up the Chargebee customers that match the requester's email address, then lets you preview, delete or copy them.

How It Works

• Preview: before MineOS deletes or copies anything, you can preview the customers it found for the requester, including the customer ID, email address and first name.
• Delete: MineOS finds every Chargebee customer that matches the requester's email address and deletes it. If no customer matches, the task is reported as not found.
• Get a copy: MineOS sends the requester a copy of the matching customer records, together with their transactions, subscriptions and invoices.

Before You Start

• Make sure you have permission to create API keys in your Chargebee account.
• Know your Chargebee site name. It is the first part of your Chargebee address: https://{sitename}.chargebee.com.

Deletion is permanent

Deleting a customer in Chargebee can't be undone, so we recommend previewing the data before you delete.

Setting Up

Step 1: Create an API key in Chargebee

1. Log in to Chargebee. In the left sidebar, click Settings → Configure Chargebee.
2. Find the API Keys and Webhooks section and open the API Keys tab.
3. Click Add API Key.
4. Select the Full-Access key type, choose All, and give the key a name.
5. Click Create Key and copy the key.

Step 2: Connect in MineOS

1. Log in to MineOS. On the left sidebar, click Inventory → Data Sources. Click Add Data Source, search for Chargebee and click Add.
2. Open the Chargebee data source → Integrations tab → Request Handling section → select Integration.
3. Paste the API key into the API key field.
4. Enter your site name in the site name field (the {sitename} part of https://{sitename}.chargebee.com).
5. Click Test your integration to validate the connection.
6. Click Test & Save.

You're done! MineOS has been connected to your Chargebee account.

Using the Integration in Requests

To handle requests automatically, add the Chargebee integration to the workflows of the privacy rights it should handle, such as deletion or get a copy.
