mParticle DSR integration

This integration automates deletion requests for mParticle. MineOS looks up the requester's email address in your mParticle workspace, lets you preview the profile it found, and submits an erasure request.

How It Works

• Preview: before MineOS deletes anything, you can preview what it found for the requester's email address in your mParticle workspace.
• Delete: MineOS submits an erasure request for the requester to mParticle. mParticle processes it, so the task shows as in progress until mParticle finishes.

Before You Start

• Make sure you have an mParticle account with permission to create an API key.
• In your mParticle Identity settings, the Unique ID must be the user's email address.

Setting Up

Step 1: Get your mParticle credentials

1. Log in to mParticle.
2. Open your workspace settings: click the workspace name in the upper-left corner, click Settings, then click the name of a workspace to open its settings page. Copy the workspace credentials.
3. Get your web platform credentials: go to Setup → Inputs, choose Web, click + next to your platform and click Issue Keys. Copy the generated Key and Secret.

Workspace credentials work for one workspace only. To connect more than one workspace, create credentials for each.

Step 2: Connect in MineOS

1. Log in to MineOS. On the left sidebar, click Inventory → Data Sources. Click Add Data Source, search for mParticle and click Add.
2. Open the mParticle data source → Integrations tab → Request Handling section → select Integration.
3. Enter the Workspace Secret and Workspace Key.
4. Enter the Web Platform Secret and Web Platform Key.
5. Click Test your integration so MineOS can verify the credentials.
6. Click Test & Save.

You're done! MineOS has been connected to your mParticle workspace.

Using the Integration in Requests

To handle requests automatically, add the mParticle integration to your deletion workflow.
