Based on the HubSpot article "Jira Software Cloud Integration" (classification parts only), updated to the current setup labels. The HubSpot article says it scans "users, customers and requests", which looks copied from the Jira Service Desk article; the code scans the issues in your Jira projects. Confirm the scanned objects, and add screenshots of the Atlassian consent screen and the MineOS integration form.

Automate data classification by integrating MineOS with Jira Software Cloud

How It Works

MineOS connects to your Jira Software Cloud site and scans the issues in your Jira projects to detect the types of personal data they contain. The results are added to the data types of the data source.

Note: This article covers data classification. Setting up Jira Software Cloud for privacy requests is covered in the Jira Software Cloud DSR integration article.

Before You Start

• Make sure you have sufficient permissions to connect apps to your Atlassian site.
• MineOS can only scan the projects the connected account has access to.
• [Optional] Enable Preview mode to view sample PII values alongside classification results. You must enable Preview mode before running the scan.

Setting Up

1. Log in to MineOS. On the left sidebar, click Inventory → Data Sources. Click Add Data Source, search for Jira Cloud Platform (also listed as Jira Project Management) and click Add.
2. Open the data source → Integrations tab → Request Handling section → select Integration.
3. If your account has access to more than one Atlassian site, fill in the Site Domain field so MineOS connects to the right site.
4. Click Connect and sign in to your Jira Software Cloud account. MineOS requests the offline_access, read:jira-work and read:jira-user permissions. Click Accept.
5. Mark the Scan this source using Data Classifier checkbox and click Save.

You're done! MineOS has been connected to your Jira Software Cloud site.
