Vitally DSR integration

This integration automates privacy requests for Vitally. MineOS uses the Vitally REST API to handle deletion and get a copy requests for your Vitally workspace.

How It Works

• Delete: MineOS deletes the requester's data held in your Vitally workspace.
• Get a copy: MineOS sends the requester a copy of the data held about them in your Vitally workspace.

Choose the right integration type

Before You Start

• You need Vitally Account Admin permissions, so you can create an API key.
• Know whether your Vitally account is on the US or EU cluster.

Setting Up

Step 1: Get your Vitally API key and workspace

1. Log in to Vitally. Find your workspace (subdomain) in the URL you use to log in: in https://yoursubdomain.vitally.io, the subdomain is yoursubdomain.
2. Click the settings icon in the navigation menu, then Integrations.
3. Select the Vitally REST API integration.
4. Generate and copy your Secret Token. You'll use it as the API key.

Step 2: Connect in MineOS

1. Log in to MineOS. On the left sidebar, click Inventory → Data Sources. Click Add Data Source, search for Vitally and click Add.
2. Open the Vitally data source → Integrations tab → Request Handling section → select Integration.
3. In the Integration type dropdown, choose Vitally DSR, then click Setup Integration.
4. On the Initial Configuration screen, click Next.
5. Enter your Api key (the Secret Token from Step 1).
6. In Base URL Workspace (Subdomain), enter your Vitally base URL without https://:
   • US cluster: yoursubdomain.rest.vitally.io
   • EU cluster: rest.vitally-eu.io
7. Click Finish.

You're done! MineOS has been connected to your Vitally workspace.

Using the Integration in Requests

To handle requests automatically, add the Vitally integration to the workflows of the privacy rights it should handle, such as deletion or get a copy.
