This integration automates privacy requests for Eploy. MineOS looks up the candidate and contact records that match the requester's email address, then lets you preview, anonymize or copy them.

How It Works

  • Preview: before MineOS anonymizes or copies anything, you can preview the candidate and contact records it found, including each record's name, address and mobile number.
  • Anonymize: Eploy records are anonymized rather than removed. MineOS clears the name, email address, phone numbers and address on the contact and candidate records that match the requester's email address, so this is how deletion requests are handled for Eploy. If no record matches, the task is reported as not found.
  • Get a copy: MineOS sends the requester a copy of the candidate and contact records found for their email address.

Before You Start

  • Make sure you have an Eploy account that can create API keys.
  • Choose an Eploy user for the key, and give that user these permissions:
    • Candidates: View and Update
    • Contacts: View and Update

Setting Up

Step 1: Create an API key in Eploy

  1. Log in to Eploy and go to Admin → Security Settings → API Keys.
  2. Click New for REST API - OAuth 2.0, give the key a title and choose the user.
  3. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret.
  4. Make sure the key's user has the Candidates and Contacts permissions listed above.

Step 2: Connect in MineOS

  1. Log in to MineOS. On the left sidebar, click Inventory → Data Sources. Click Add Data Source, search for Eploy and click Add.
  2. Open the Eploy data source → Integrations tab → Request Handling section → select Integration.
  3. In the Domain field, enter your Eploy company domain, the yourCompanyDomain part of yourCompanyDomain.eploy.net.
  4. Enter the Client Id and Client Secret from Eploy.
  5. Click Test your integration to validate the credentials.
  6. Click Test & Save.

You're done! MineOS has been connected to your Eploy account.

Using the Integration in Requests

To handle requests automatically, add the Eploy integration to the workflows of the privacy rights it should handle, such as deletion or get a copy.
