Mention Me DSR integration

This integration automates privacy requests for Mention Me. MineOS looks up the Mention Me customer that matches the requester's email address, then lets you preview, delete or copy it.

How It Works

• Preview: before MineOS deletes or copies anything, you can preview the customer it found for the requester.
• Delete: MineOS finds the Mention Me customer that matches the requester's email address and purges it.
• Get a copy: MineOS sends the requester a copy of the Mention Me customer data found for their email address.

Before You Start

• Make sure you have permission to open Settings in your Mention Me account and create API credentials.
• The API key you create must include the customers:read and customers:delete scopes.

Setting Up

Step 1: Create API credentials in Mention Me

1. Log in to Mention Me and go to Settings → 3rd party integrations → API.
2. Create a new API key for MineOS.
3. Make sure its scopes include customers:read and customers:delete.
4. After the key is created, copy the Client Id and Client Secret.

Step 2: Connect in MineOS

1. Log in to MineOS. On the left sidebar, click Inventory → Data Sources. Click Add Data Source, search for Mention Me and click Add.
2. Open the Mention Me data source → Integrations tab → Request Handling section → select Integration.
3. Paste the Client Id and Client Secret.
4. Click Test your integration so MineOS can verify the credentials.
5. Click Test & Save.

You're done! MineOS has been connected to your Mention Me account.

Using the Integration in Requests

To handle requests automatically, add the Mention Me integration to the workflows of the privacy rights it should handle, such as deletion or get a copy.
