Gorgias DSR integration

This integration automates privacy requests for Gorgias. MineOS looks up the Gorgias customer that matches the requester's email address, then lets you preview, delete or copy their data.

How It Works

• Preview: before MineOS deletes or copies anything, you can preview the customer it found for the requester, including the customer ID, email address and name.
• Delete: MineOS permanently deletes the matching customer and their tickets from Gorgias. If any of the customer's tickets is still open, MineOS stops and reports an error without deleting anything. If no customer matches, the task is reported as not found.
• Get a copy: MineOS sends the requester a copy of the Gorgias customer record and tickets found for their email address.

Before You Start

• Make sure the requester has no open tickets in Gorgias. Deletion only runs when all of the customer's tickets are closed.

Setting Up

Step 1: Find your credentials in Gorgias

1. Log in to Gorgias and click Settings in the top-left corner, then REST API.
2. Copy the Password (API Key).
3. Copy the Username, which is your account email address.
4. In the Base API URL, copy the text between https:// and .gorgias.com/api/. This is your account name.

Step 2: Connect in MineOS

1. Log in to MineOS. On the left sidebar, click Inventory → Data Sources. Click Add Data Source, search for Gorgias and click Add.
2. Open the Gorgias data source → Integrations tab → Request Handling section → select Integration.
3. Paste the password into the API Key field.
4. Paste your email address into the Username field.
5. Paste your account name into the Account field.
6. Click Test your integration to validate the credentials.
7. Click Test & Save.

You're done! MineOS has been connected to your Gorgias account.

Using the Integration in Requests

To handle requests automatically, add the Gorgias integration to the workflows of the privacy rights it should handle, such as deletion or get a copy.
