Cordial DSR integration

This integration automates privacy requests for Cordial. MineOS looks up the Cordial contact that matches the requester's email address, then lets you preview, delete or copy it.

How It Works

• Preview: before MineOS deletes or copies anything, you can preview the contact it found for the requester, including the contact ID, name, email address and email subscribe status.
• Delete: MineOS deletes the Cordial contact that matches the requester's email address. If no contact matches, the task is reported as not found.
• Get a copy: MineOS sends the requester a copy of the Cordial contact record found for their email address.

Before You Start

• Make sure you can create API keys in your Cordial account.
• Add MineOS's IP addresses to your Cordial IP allowlist, so Cordial accepts the requests.
• Give the API key permission to get contacts, get a single contact and delete a single contact.

Setting Up

1. In Cordial, create an API key with the permissions listed above.
2. Log in to MineOS. On the left sidebar, click Inventory → Data Sources. Click Add Data Source, search for Cordial and click Add.
3. Open the Cordial data source → Integrations tab → Request Handling section → select Integration.
4. Paste the API key into the API key field.
5. If your Cordial account is on the usw2 region (your Cordial admin URL uses usw2), enter usw2 in the Location field. For any other region, leave it empty.
6. Click Test your integration to validate the connection.
7. Click Test & Save.

You're done! MineOS has been connected to your Cordial account.

Using the Integration in Requests

To handle requests automatically, add the Cordial integration to the workflows of the privacy rights it should handle, such as deletion or get a copy.
