Gong DSR integration

This integration automates privacy requests for Gong. MineOS looks up the calls, emails and meetings in Gong that reference the requester's email address, then lets you preview, delete or copy that data.

How It Works

• Preview: before MineOS deletes or copies anything, you can preview the Gong calls, emails and meetings that reference the requester.
• Delete: MineOS asks Gong to erase the data it holds for the requester's email address. Gong processes the erasure in the background, so the task can stay in progress for a while before it completes.
• Get a copy: MineOS sends the requester a copy of the Gong data found for their email address.

Before You Start

• You need Technical Administrator permissions in Gong to create an API key.

Setting Up

Step 1: Create an API key in Gong

1. Log in to Gong and open your company settings from the upper-right corner.
2. Under Ecosystem, click API.
3. Click Get API Key.
4. Copy the Access Key and the Access key secret.

Step 2: Connect in MineOS

1. Log in to MineOS. On the left sidebar, click Inventory → Data Sources. Click Add Data Source, search for Gong and click Add.
2. Open the Gong data source → Integrations tab → Request Handling section → select Integration.
3. Enter the Access Key and the Access Key Secret.
4. Click Test your integration to validate the keys.
5. Click Test & Save.

You're done! MineOS has been connected to your Gong account.

Using the Integration in Requests

To handle requests automatically, add the Gong integration to the workflows of the privacy rights it should handle, such as deletion or get a copy.
