Typeform DSR integration

This integration automates privacy requests for Typeform. MineOS finds the responses to your forms that belong to the requester, then lets you preview, delete or copy them.

How It Works

• Preview: before MineOS deletes anything, you can preview the form responses it found for the requester, including each response ID and submission date.
• Delete: MineOS searches all the forms in your Typeform account and deletes the responses that match the requester.
• Get a copy: available with the TypeForm (InternalId) type only. MineOS sends the requester a copy of the responses found for their internal ID.

Choose the right integration type

Before You Start

• You need to be an account owner in Typeform.

Setting Up

When you reach the Integration Type dropdown in Step 2, choose the type you need.

Step 1: Create a personal access token in Typeform

1. Log in to Typeform. In the top left corner, click your user name and choose Account.
2. Open the Account drop-down, choose Personal tokens and click Generate a new token.
3. Fill in:
   • Token name: MineOS
   • Custom scopes: Accounts: Read; Forms: Read; Responses: Read. If you'll also use Typeform for privacy requests, add Write for Forms and Responses.
4. Click Generate token and copy it.
5. Go to your Typeform workspace and copy your account ID from the browser URL. For example, in https://admin.typeform.com/accounts/your-account-id/workspaces/, the account ID is your-account-id.

Step 2: Connect in MineOS

1. Log in to MineOS. On the left sidebar, click Inventory, then click Add data source. Search for Typeform and add it.
2. Open the Typeform system and go to the DSR & integrations tab. If the system already has an integration, click Add instance.
3. Under Action for fulfilling requests, select Integration, then choose your integration type in the Integration Type dropdown.
4. In the Set up integration wizard, paste the token into the Personal access token field and the account ID into the Account Id field.
5. Click Finish.

You're done! MineOS has been connected to your Typeform account.

Using the Integration in Requests

To handle requests automatically, add the Typeform integration to the workflows of the privacy rights it should handle, such as deletion or, with the TypeForm (InternalId) type, get a copy.
