This integration automates privacy requests for Recurly. MineOS looks up the Recurly account that matches the requester's identifier, then lets you preview, delete or copy it.

How It Works

  • Preview: before MineOS deletes or copies anything, you can preview the account it found for the requester, including the ID, email address and name.
  • Delete: MineOS deactivates the Recurly account that matches the requester. If no account matches, the task is reported as not found.
  • Get a copy: MineOS sends the requester a copy of their Recurly account record, including its address, subscription indicators and custom fields.

Choose the right integration type

Recurly looks accounts up by Account Code. Choose the type that matches how you set account codes in Recurly.

Integration typeWhat it does
Recurly (Email)Use this if your account codes are your customers' email addresses. MineOS uses the requester's email address.
Recurly (InternalId)Use this if your account codes are your own internal IDs. You enter each requester's internal ID in the request.

Before You Start

  • You need a Recurly account that can create an API key.
  • Know whether your Recurly site is in the EU data center.

Setting Up

Step 1: Create an API key in Recurly

  1. In Recurly, go to Integrations → API Credentials.
  2. If you don't already have a suitable key, click Add Private API Key.
  3. Enter a key name and, optionally, notes. Leave Read-Only unchecked, because MineOS needs write access to deactivate accounts.
  4. Click Save Changes and copy the key.

Step 2: Connect in MineOS

  1. Log in to MineOS. On the left sidebar, click Inventory → Data Sources. Click Add Data Source, search for Recurly and click Add.
  2. Open the Recurly data source → Integrations tab → Request Handling section → select Integration.
  3. In the Integration type dropdown, choose Recurly (Email) or Recurly (InternalId).
  4. Paste the API key into the Enter API Key field.
  5. If your Recurly site is in the EU data center, type EU in the Enter EU if data center is Europe field. Otherwise, leave it empty. You can check the data center in Recurly under Integrations → API Credentials.
  6. Click Test your integration to validate the key.
  7. Click Test & Save.

You're done! MineOS has been connected to your Recurly account.

Using the Integration in Requests

To handle requests automatically, add the Recurly integration to the workflows of the privacy rights it should handle, such as deletion or get a copy.
