Google Analytics DSR integration
Automate privacy request handling by integrating MineOS with Google Analytics.

This integration automates deletion requests for Google Analytics 4. MineOS submits a user deletion request to your GA4 property for the requester, identified by their email address or phone number.
How It Works
- Delete: MineOS asks Google Analytics to delete the data it holds for the requester's email address or phone number. Delete is the only action this integration supports.
Choose the right integration type
| Integration type | How the requester is identified |
|---|---|
| Google Analytics (email) | The requester's email address. |
| Google Analytics (phone) | The requester's phone number. |
If you handle both, connect one integration of each type to the same GA4 property. Google allows 500 user deletions per day per property, shared across both.
Before You Start
- Have the numeric ID of your GA4 property ready.
- Make sure you have Admin permissions in Google Analytics, so you can authorize the connection.
- MineOS asks Google for the
analytics.editandanalytics.readonlypermissions when you connect. - Make sure your GA4 property accepts user-provided data. Google can only match an email address or phone number that the property collected.
Setting Up
- Log in to MineOS. On the left sidebar, click Inventory → Data Sources. Click Add Data Source, search for Google Analytics and click Add.
- Open the Google Analytics data source → Integrations tab → Request Handling section → select Integration.
- In the Integration type dropdown, choose Google Analytics (email) or Google Analytics (phone).
- Enter your GA4 property ID in the GA4 property ID field.
- Click Connect and follow the Google prompts to approve the permissions. You return to MineOS when you finish.
- Confirm that the integration shows as connected, then click Save.
Using the Integration in Requests
To handle requests automatically, add the Google Analytics integration to the workflows of the deletion right. Use the email type for requests identified by email address and the phone type for requests identified by phone number.
Troubleshooting
| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| Property does not accept user-provided data, so it holds nothing that can be matched by email or phone | Turn on user-provided data collection for the GA4 property in Google Analytics, then test again. |
Google refused the request, or the connection predates the analytics.edit permission | Reconnect the integration and approve the permissions, and make sure the Google account can edit the property. |
| Google Analytics property was not found | Check the GA4 property ID. |
| Daily quota for the property reached | Google allows 500 user deletions per day per property. Retry once the quota refills. |
