Ometria DSR integration

This integration automates privacy requests for Ometria. MineOS looks up the Ometria contact that matches the requester's email address, then lets you preview it, anonymize it or send a copy of it.

How It Works

• Preview: before MineOS anonymizes or copies anything, you can preview the contact profile it found for the requester, including the ID, email address and name.
• Anonymize: MineOS asks Ometria to anonymize the contact tied to the requester's email address. Ometria processes the request in the background, so the task stays in progress until it's done.
• Get a copy: MineOS sends the requester a copy of the Ometria contact profile found for their email address.

Before You Start

• You need an Ometria account that can create API keys.

Setting Up

Step 1: Create an API key in Ometria

1. Log in to Ometria.
2. In the upper right corner, click your account name, then Settings.
3. Open the API Keys tab and click Add new API Key.
4. Enter a title and click Create.
5. Copy the key. You can view it again later by clicking Show Key next to its title.

Step 2: Connect in MineOS

1. Log in to MineOS. On the left sidebar, click Inventory → Data Sources. Click Add Data Source, search for Ometria and click Add.
2. Open the Ometria data source → Integrations tab → Request Handling section → select Integration.
3. Paste the key into the Api Key field.
4. Click Test your integration to validate the key.
5. Click Test & Save.

You're done! MineOS has been connected to your Ometria account.

Using the Integration in Requests

To handle requests automatically, add the Ometria integration to the workflows of the privacy rights it should handle, such as deletion or get a copy.
