Iris DSR integration

This integration automates privacy requests for Iris Cascade. MineOS looks up the Iris employee that matches the requester's email address, then lets you preview, anonymize or copy their data.

How It Works

• Preview: before MineOS anonymizes or copies anything, you can preview the employee it found for the requester.
• Anonymize: Iris doesn't support deleting employees through its API, so deletion requests anonymize the employee instead: MineOS clears their names, display ID, phone numbers, email addresses and addresses. If no employee matches, the task is reported as not found.
• Get a copy: MineOS sends the requester a copy of their employee information, absences and benefits.

Employee bank details aren't covered by copy or anonymization, so handle them outside this integration.

Before You Start

• You need Iris Cascade API access, which consists of a Client Key and a Client Secret. If you don't have them, request them from Iris.

Setting Up

1. Log in to MineOS. On the left sidebar, click Inventory → Data Sources. Click Add Data Source, search for Iris and click Add.
2. Open the Iris data source → Integrations tab → Request Handling section → select Integration.
3. Enter your Client Key and your Client Secret.
4. Click Test your integration to validate the credentials.
5. Click Test & Save.

You're done! MineOS has been connected to your Iris account.

Using the Integration in Requests

To handle requests automatically, add the Iris integration to the workflows of the privacy rights it should handle, such as deletion or get a copy.
